4-H Field Day

When:  Friday, May 15, 2015
Where: Columbiana County Fairgrounds.  225 Lee Avenue, Lisbon, OH  44432

10:00am – 2:00pm
No Charge

On this day, students and their teachers/parents of the county can get acquainted with 4-H members and their various projects.  Field days of the past have proven to be extremely successful and they have found that the children who have attended get great enjoyment in learning about 4-H.  In the 4-H Field
Day, students can experience animal projects from horses and cattle to rabbits and guinea pigs.  Project fair members are also on hand to offer information about various non-livestock projects such as food and nutrition, science fun, photography, scrapbooking, needlework, and quilting projects.

For the 2015 Field Day, each student in attendance will receive a treat bag to take with them as a remembrance of the day.  Students will tentatively attend seven stations including four animal stations, one project station, one drug and safety station provided by the sheriff deputy and the K-9 unit and one special treat from the Dairy Boosters.

All students and family members must bring a sack lunch.  The 4-H will provide cold beverages and a special treat from the Dairy Boosters.

RSVP to Vicki Zook, 866-642-9237 Ext. 1251 or vzook@go2boss.com.
